As far as our competitors are concerned, they can be divided into two categories: raw materials’ suppliers and battery manufacturers. The first category includes battery recycling facilities, the largest of them in ownership of Redwood Materials, Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz. As we have already mentioned, all of them rely on the “traditional” battery recycling technology, with batteries being shredded and certain elements being retracted from them with the help of chemical reactions. Our company will be the first on the market using a completely new recovery technology, which will give us significant advantage over the competitors. As for the second category, we will be able to compete with the existing battery manufacturers thanks to the affordability of our technology, and, therefore, our future batteries.

We plan to reach our customers via direct contact. Since the raw materials as well as battery market are represented by a relatively small number of strong players, such a strategy is the most effective in terms of resources. In other words, from the very start of operation we will know the companies we are producing raw materials or batteries for and will keep in constant contact with them rather than launching a mass advertising campaign.
